Junior QA $

We are looking for Junior QA to join our team and contribute to our projects. This is a great opportunity to get real experience on high-load project at the beginning of your career. We're ready to consider candidates with 6-12 months of commercial experience.

Engagement: full-time, fully remote.


About the Project

You'll be joining a team working on a high-traffic web platform focused on URL management and link intelligence. The product handles hundreds of millions of redirects and serves a large global user base, with strict requirements around reliability, performance, and uptime. The backend is built on a PHP-based application stack running on bare-metal servers, complemented by a modern Kubernetes-based infrastructure. The system relies on MariaDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ, with Cloudflare handling traffic at the edge. The team follows a structured release process with Jira-tracked workflows, Confluence documentation, and CI/CD pipelines via Bitbucket.


What You'll Be Testing

Your primary focus will be on features delivered by the development team: 

• URL shortening and redirect logic — core product functionality including edge cases around link creation, resolution, and expiration 

• API endpoints — functional testing of internal and external API behavior, request/response validation, error handling


What We Expect:

• Basic understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, request/response cycle) 

• Ability to write and execute manual test cases 

• Attention to detail and willingness to ask questions 

• Comfortable working in English (documentation and tickets are in English)


Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Postman or any API testing tool 

• Experience with Jira or similar task trackers
