Middle QA Engineer to $2300

Objective:

A cloud-based, enterprise-grade platform for Capital Expenditure (Capex) management. The system replaces fragmented spreadsheets with a unified solution, integrating budgeting, project forecasting, and approval workflows into one intuitive interface. The platform enables organizations to automate financial reporting, ensure compliance, and perform rigorous ROI modeling, accelerating decision-making and optimizing portfolio performance across the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Web application testing.
• API testing (both REST API and GraphQL).
• Active participation in Daily Standups, Refinement, Planning, Retrospectives, and other meetings.
• Identifying edge cases during requirements analysis.
• Performing effective Smoke and Sanity testing to ensure product stability.
• Analyzing existing bug reports.
• Identifying new potential defects and risks.
• Communicating efficiently with the Product Owner, CTO, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• English level B2 or higher (higher preferable).
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with test design techniques.
• Ability to work with test artifacts: bug reports, test cases, checklists.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• Experience with REST API.
• Basic knowledge how to work with AI (used in the work processes on the project).
• Experience in the FinTech domain.
   

Nice to have:

• Ability to read web server logs.
• Understanding API architecture.
• Knowledge of the differences between REST API and GraphQL.
