Tech Lead Backend/Fullstack to $5000

Truxspot is a US-based product company in the logistics and transportation space. We are a small but technically mature team building a complex SaaS product. No corporate bureaucracy — just real ownership, interesting challenges, and direct communication.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced developer with architectural thinking who is ready to take on technical leadership. You will work alongside our current Tech Lead until June for a thorough handover, then step into the lead role.

Diverse commercial experience matters to us. We are not looking for someone from a large corporation who spent their entire career on a single product. We need a versatile engineer who has seen different projects, can quickly navigate unfamiliar codebases, and makes confident decisions.

Responsibilities

• Code Review (TypeScript, Vue 3, C#, .NET Core)
• Architectural design and planning of new features
• Implementation of complex business logic (mostly backend, but frontend involvement as needed)
• Defining and assigning DevOps tasks when scripts or processes need changes
• Owning the financial/payment layer: payments, subscriptions, reporting (Stripe, QuickBooks)
• Overseeing team solution quality and guiding implementation approaches

• Databases: MS SQL, PostgreSQL
• Languages: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Frameworks: Vue 3, .NET Core (API), NHibernate
• Platforms & tools: Docker, Jenkins, Node.js, Graylog
• Services: Stripe (Payments, Subscriptions, Invoices, Connected Accounts), Amazon S3 & SES, Twilio, Google Workspace, QuickBooks

• What We're Looking For
  Ukrainian candidates based outside of Ukraine
• Diverse commercial experience across different projects and domains
• Initiative: ability to propose improvements without waiting to be asked
• Architectural mindset — not just shipping features, but shipping them right
• Ability to quickly understand large, unfamiliar codebases
• Middle+ or Senior level proficiency across our stack
• Genuine desire to grow with the team and the product

Compensation & Conditions

• Starting rate: $4,000 – $4,500/month
• After trial period (~1 month): growth to $5,000/month — if it's a mutual yes
• Onboarding together with current Tech Lead through June
• Fully remote
• Direct communication with the company owner
