🌟 About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack  (Backend-oriented) Engineer to join Elementor’s core R&D team and work on building new backend services and frontend components for a product used by millions of websites worldwide. In this senior role, you will take ownership of features end-to-end — from technical design and architecture to development, testing, and release.

This role offers strong ownership, real product impact, and the opportunity to help shape both the product and engineering best practices across the team.

💻 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver new user-facing features and product capabilities.
• Participate in the technical design of features and ensure the technical feasibility of product and UI/UX solutions.
• Build high-quality, reliable components that enhance the platform while maintaining system stability and performance.
• Maintain system quality through testing and clean, dependable implementation.
• Use AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT, as part of the daily development workflow.
• Contribute to a complex, large-scale product with multiple use cases, used by millions of websites and customers worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders across the team.

📝 Required Competence and Skills:

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including 2+ years working with NestJS or a similar backend framework.
• 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and building responsive web interfaces.
• Proven experience working with MySQL, including database design and optimization for scalable applications.
• Experience building scalable backend services in production environments.
• Strong understanding of web application fundamentals, including HTTP, client-server architecture, security, and performance.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit and E2E) and following secure development practices.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in day-to-day development.
• Strong English communication skills.

➕ Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Elementor or other WordPress plugins at scale.
• Contributions to or maintenance of open-source projects.
• Experience with SCSS.
• Familiarity with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
