Android Software Developer to $2500
🔥 We’re looking for a highly motivated Android Software Developer to join our team in a fully remote position. In this role, you will build a consumer-facing Android mobile application that seamlessly connects people with clinicians, enabling high-quality home examinations and diagnoses. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from feature design to implementation and testing, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop a consumer-facing mobile Android application that connects users with clinicians for remote examinations and diagnosis;
- Participate in the technical design of features;
- Develop features according to agreed-upon estimates during planning sessions;
- Perform development testing to ensure features meet all acceptance criteria;
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders;
- Stay up to date with new technologies and continuously learn;
- Participate in daily team communication.
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent;
- Strong knowledge of OOP / SOLID principles;
- Proficiency in Kotlin, including best practices for Android development;
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to optimize app performance;
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming in Android;
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK (activities, fragments, services, broadcast receivers, content providers, etc.);
- Familiarity with Android lifecycle management and lifecycle-aware components;
- Experience with Dagger2 (dependency injection), Retrofit (REST APIs), and RxJava (asynchronous programming);
- Understanding of Android UI principles, custom UI elements, animations, and interactive UX;
- Experience with Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution);
- Strong communication skills (English B2+).
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure;
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture and design patterns;
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
