Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Middle/Senior) to help us improve the quality of a financial accounting system used by companies in the Swiss market.

Our product is a full-featured accounting platform used by trustees managing multiple companies, as well as individual businesses. It includes desktop (Windows) and web applications, with integrations such as bank APIs and tax systems.

This is not a “click-through UI testing” role — the system has complex business logic, so we need someone who can think critically, understand workflows, and catch issues before they reach production.

What you’ll do

• Perform manual testing of new features and existing functionality
• Design and maintain test cases, checklists, and test scenarios
• Investigate issues deeply and provide clear bug reports
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and edge cases
• Help improve QA processes (not just follow them)
• Contribute to automation where it makes sense

• Backend / unit-level: xUnit
• Internal tools and frameworks
   

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing (QA)
• Strong understanding of manual testing techniques
• Ability to work with complex systems and business logic
• Experience with API testing
• Good written and spoken English 

Ability to work independently in a remote team (CET timezone)

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation
• Understanding of accounting or financial systems
• Experience testing desktop applications (Windows), web app
• Experience with integration-heavy systems (APIs, external services)
