ABOUT JUPERRA

Juperra is a US healthcare marketplace connecting licensed caregivers — RNs, LPNs, CNAs — with families for in-home care.

We are a mobile-first, dual-sided platform with native Flutter apps (iOS + Android) for both caregivers and clients, featuring real-time booking, AI-powered matching, Socket.IO chat, Stripe payments, clinical documentation, and a full credentialing and background check pipeline.

We are a Delaware C-Corporation with a live production codebase and active integrations with Stripe, Twilio, Checkr, Persona, Nursys, Verisys, Sentry, and Thimble. The platform is already in active development with a working system and ongoing improvements.

Soft launch Q2 2026. Scaling through Q3 and beyond.

We are not looking for a contractor. We are looking for a builder.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a ground-floor role at a company solving a real problem in a $300B+ home care industry.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO, own the full technical stack, and grow with the platform from launch through scale. The right person will not just write code — they will shape the product, influence architecture decisions, and become a core part of what Juperra becomes.

TECH STACK

Backend: Node.js / Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Socket.IO, Firebase Auth + FCM

Mobile: Flutter / Dart — two apps (Caregiver app + Client/Connect app)

Cloud: AWS

Integrations: Stripe Connect, Twilio, Checkr, Persona, Nursys, Verisys, Sentry, Thimble

Admin Panel: Next.js / React

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and extend the Node.js backend — REST APIs, real-time features, payment flows, credentialing and verification integrations

Build and improve Flutter features across both mobile apps

Integrate new third-party APIs as the platform grows

Maintain security best practices, write documentation, ensure code quality

Work directly with the CEO — fast decisions, no bureaucracy, real ownership

REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of full stack development experience

Strong Node.js / Express — REST API design, PostgreSQL, authentication flows

Flutter / Dart — production mobile apps on iOS + Android

Experience integrating third-party APIs (payments, verification, messaging)

Strong written English — clear async communication is essential

Available for at least 4 hours of US Eastern timezone overlap daily

NICE TO HAVE

Healthcare, HIPAA, or marketplace platform experience

Stripe Connect / payment escrow

Socket.IO real-time features

Gig economy or two-sided marketplace background

AWS deployment and DevOps experience

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be discussed based on experience and timing of engagement.

We are open to different structures (monthly, milestone-based, or long-term role) depending on the stage and the right candidate.
