Trainee Manual QA

Job Description

Basic understanding of software testing principles, types, techniques, and the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of relational databases (preferably SQL Server); ability to write and execute simple SQL queries (SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE).
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to document test cases and results clearly.
Basic knowledge of virtualization tools such as VMware and Oracle VirtualBox.
English at a level sufficient to read technical documentation.
Willingness to learn and grow in the QA field.
 

Job Responsibilities

Manual testing of a Windows-based application that stores data in a SQL database.
Executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting issues.
Setting up and working with virtual machines in VMware and Oracle VirtualBox for testing purposes.
Collaborating with developers and other QA team members to ensure software quality.
Learning and applying best practices in quality assurance.
 

Department/Project Description

Support existing implementing algorithms and export of processed data set needed for visualization of report content.

Our client is a big medical equipment manufacturer located in the United States. We have completed a lot of projects for them during the last 15 years and continue our strong relationships. We are creating software information systems providing management and reporting capabilities for customer equipment in the field. Currently we are extending our team to be able to start new generation projects and looking for a passionate and motivated full-stack senior developer who will be the right hand for the dev lead.
