Our client is a USA-based company, that helps pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations to find patients for clinical trials of new drugs.

Project overview

We are building a web-based platform for managing clinical trials and supporting pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations in identifying suitable patients for new drug trials.

The solution enables clinical teams to manage trials, collect and process candidate data, configure eligibility requirements, and generate detailed reports. Due to the variety of clinical trials and patient criteria, the platform includes extensive configuration capabilities to adapt to different trial needs.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code based on user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop new features and fix bugs
• Create and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to ensure smooth integration
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings
• Take part in code reviews (both as a reviewer and a submitter)
• Identify and reduce technical debt (refactoring, library updates, performance improvements)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Python and Django
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with the GCP (Google Cloud Platform) stack or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
