Backend Engineer (Go)

About the Project: We are building a platform that is transforming how MRI professionals are trained globally. It is a fully software-based simulator that eliminates the need for expensive physical equipment. The platform accurately simulates the entire process — from physics-based signal generation to image reconstruction.

We make high-quality medical training accessible on standard hardware, enabling healthcare professionals to train in a safe, repeatable, and interactive environment. This project combines deep engineering expertise with a strong real-world impact in healthcare (reducing training costs and improving patient outcomes).

Core Stack: Go, MySQL, AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda), Docker, RESTful APIs.
 

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Go.
• Develop efficient data models and work with MySQL (or similar relational databases).
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications in AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Frontend, Product, DevOps).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
   

What we expect from you:

• 5–10 years of commercial experience in backend development.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Go.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and practical experience with MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
   

Nice to have:

• Experience with distributed systems design.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Background in startup or high-growth environments.
