We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. In this role, you will contribute to building reliable, high-performance systems that support real-world production environments and power our core platform.

Project Overview:
Our company is transforming the way advanced medical imaging is taught globally. By developing a fully software-based MRI simulation platform, we eliminate the need for costly physical equipment and make high-quality training accessible anywhere.
The platform accurately replicates the entire MRI scanning process — from physics-based signal generation to image reconstruction — enabling students and healthcare professionals to train in a safe, repeatable, and interactive environment. What previously required access to expensive hospital machines can now be achieved on standard hardware.
This innovation significantly expands access to medical training, accelerates learning, reduces costs, and ultimately contributes to better patient outcomes worldwide. Our work combines deep engineering expertise with a strong real-world impact in healthcare.

Requirements (Must-have):
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Go
- Solid knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases
- Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, Java)
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows
- Strong understanding of relational database design
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Go
- Develop scalable and efficient data models with MySQL or other relational databases
- Deploy and operate cloud-native applications in AWS
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and DevOps
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Nice to Have:
- Experience with distributed systems design
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Background in startup or high-growth environments
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
