Python/AI Engineer (Armenia)

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our growing team at Cyngular. This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-moving cybersecurity startup building an advanced AI SOC for cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is not a classic backend or full-stack web position. This role focuses on data engineering, automation, distributed systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python services that interact with cloud provider APIs and telemetry sources 
• Build scalable, event-driven processing pipelines 
• Develop serverless components and cloud-native integrations 
• Work with large volumes of cloud logs and security data 
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost across distributed systems 
• Debug complex production issues in multi-cloud environments

• Collaborate closely with research, DevOps, and product teams

   

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience
• Proven experience developing production systems in a startup environment 
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing 
• Experience building software that runs in production and handles real-world scale 
• High ownership mindset and ability to work independently 
• Strong problem-solving skills
   

Strong Advantage

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP 
• Experience working with cloud SDKs: AWS (boto3), Azure SDK, GCP SDK 
• Familiarity with cloud security, telemetry, or infrastructure APIs
• Experience working with multi-cloud environments
