Senior Linux C++ Developer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join the team working on the Dell Lightning File System, a high‑performance distributed file system built for AI training workloads and advanced computing environments.
Search in Kyiv ONLY.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Enhance and expand the REST API management infrastructure, including implementing RBAC for improved security (C++).
— Improve serviceability tooling, such as scripts for support materials collection and hardware replacement workflows (Python).
— Develop pre‑installation and pre‑upgrade system health checks (Bash/Python).
— Handle and process hardware-related events (Kubernetes/Python).

SKILLS

— Strong experience writing design documents and breaking down complex features into manageable tasks.
— Solid understanding of object‑oriented design principles, distributed systems, and multithreaded programming.
— 7+ years of professional experience as a C++ developer working in Linux environments.
— Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
— Practical experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
— Upper‑Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency, both spoken and written.
