We are looking for a detail-oriented English Proofreader to review and refine documents translated by AI. The role focuses on ensuring linguistic accuracy, clarity, consistency, and professional tone before final delivery.

Requirements

• Excellent written English (native or near-native level)
• Strong grammar and editing skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work with structured documents (Word, PDF, Google Docs)
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple documents

Nice to have

• Experience in proofreading legal, financial, or corporate documents
• Experience working with AI-translated content
• Background in translation, linguistics, or English studies
• Familiarity with terminology consistency tools

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit AI-translated documents in English
• Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
• Improve clarity, flow, and readability
• Ensure consistency in terminology and formatting
• Adjust tone to match professional/legal/corporate standards (depending on document type)
• Flag unclear, inaccurate, or contextually incorrect translations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents
