🔹 About the role

• Long-term project (6+ months, full-time)
• Backend-focused role (.NET Core 8)
• Small, senior team
• Direct collaboration with .NET Lead and PM
• High level of autonomy and ownership
   

🔹What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Work with Entity Framework Core and MS SQL Server
• Optimize queries and database performance
• Implement background job processing
• Collaborate asynchronously within a distributed team
   

🔹 Tech stack

• Backend: C#, .NET Core 8
• Database: MS SQL Server
• ORM: Entity Framework Core

Architecture: REST APIs, background jobs

🔹 Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience with C# / .NET
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core
• Solid experience with MS SQL Server (including performance tuning)
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready code
• Strong communication skills in English
   

🔹 Nice to have

• Microservices / CQRS experience
• Messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
• Cloud experience (Azure / AWS)
• Testing (unit/integration)

🔹 Working conditions

• Full-time (30-40 hours/week)
• Long-term engagement
• Partial overlap with US Eastern time (2-4 hours)
