Job Description

Education: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or completion of a reputable QA Bootcamp).

The "QA Mindset": An obsessive attention to detail and a natural tendency to ask, "What happens if I click this twice?"

Technical Literacy: Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Communication: Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that is easy for others to understand.

Tech Foundations: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic SQL queries is a significant plus.

Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development in the field of software quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities

Test Execution: Run manual test cases across web and mobile platforms to identify bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies.

Bug Reporting: Document identified issues in Jira (or similar tools) with clear, concise steps to reproduce, screenshots, and expected results.

Regression Testing: Ensure that new code changes haven't "broken" existing features that were previously working.

Test Documentation: Assist in writing and updating test plans, test cases, and checklists.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers to understand feature requirements and verify bug fixes.

Automation Learning: Gradually learn to write basic automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright under the guidance of senior engineers.
