Senior Android Native Developer (Hybrid, Kraków)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Android Native Developer with strong expertise in modern Android technologies. In this role, you will take ownership of building robust, scalable mobile applications and contribute to technical decisions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Build high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces based on design systems
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code aligned with best practices
• Implement and maintain unit and automated testing
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues to ensure performance and reliability
• Work with Android development tools (Android Studio, adb, Emulator)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery
• Manage Google Play Store releases, certificates, and provisioning processes
• Ensure proper data handling using JSON and XML formats
• Apply security best practices in mobile development
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
• Contribute to process improvements and adoption of AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and related tools (adb, Emulator)
• Experience with unit and automated testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Google Play Store publishing and certificate management
• Strong debugging skills and knowledge of Java
• Understanding of mobile accessibility standards
• Experience working with JSON and XML
• Knowledge of mobile application security practices
• Experience in Agile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Git and IDEs like IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code
• Familiarity with mobile component libraries
• Basic knowledge of iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode)
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
• Background in fintech, banking, or onboarding-related products
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude CLI)
