About the project

We're building a runtime governance control layer for advanced AI systems in regulated environments. Phase A is a 60-day prototype focused on execution containment, authorization gating, and immutable audit logging across agentic workflows. This is infrastructure-layer work — not an LLM app.

What you'll do

Lead a team of 3–5 engineers across segmented development domains

Design and oversee the control layer between inference and execution systems

Coordinate integration across modules (intercept layer, auth engine, logging, test harness)

Work directly with the Founder and Architectural Steward

Ensure determinism and correctness in the enforcement layer

You're a fit if you

Have 8–12+ years in backend/systems engineering

Have hands-on experience with distributed systems, sandboxing, or secure execution environments

Think structurally about failure — not just happy paths

Have led small teams in high-accountability, tightly scoped builds

Bonus: regulated environment experience (fintech, healthtech, defense)
