UGV Lead

An Estonian international DefenseTech company is seeking an UGV specialist to lead the unmanned ground robotic systems division at its Ukrainian R&D center.

The core concept is tactical autonomy. The company develops robotic ground platforms and autonomous AI-based software for controlling unmanned systems. This transforms a single operator into a command center for an entire system of autonomous vehicles in the air and on the ground.

The products are already being used by units of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and dozens of brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Location: Kyiv (office). 

Key challenges in this role:

• This is a position at the intersection of R&D and real-world operations. The specialist will be responsible for developing the ground platform, transforming engineering prototypes into a reliable production-ready product capable of operating in the harshest conditions.

• Leading a cross-functional team (Mechanical, Electronic/Hardware, Embedded, RF), ensuring the viability and operational readiness of the systems.

• Rapid iterations: technical solutions and platform updates are tested in the field as quickly as possible.
