AI / Python Engineer (AI Investigations Platform)

We are looking for an AI Engineer to help bridge advanced AI capabilities with a stable, production-ready investigative research platform. The role focuses on building reliable, traceable, and performant agentic AI workflows powering complex investigations.

Key Qualifications:
● Strong experience with Python and modern backend development.
● Practical experience working with LLM-based systems in production.
● Experience building or optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and working with vector databases.
● Solid understanding of async programming, concurrency, and long-running background processes.
● Experience integrating external APIs and AI providers.
● Understanding of reliability patterns: retries, fallbacks, error handling, and observability.
● Experience designing scalable APIs and real-time streaming (SSE or similar).
● Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
● Excellent English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
● React + TypeScript familiarity.

● Develop and improve agentic workflows using LangGraph orchestration.
● Implement decision logic, tool execution, and budget controls for AI agents.
● Improve reliability of LLM integrations through retries, fallbacks, and error handling.
● Refine storage, schemas, and indexing for investigation artifacts.
● Enhance backend APIs and real-time streaming interfaces.
● Build and maintain async workflows supporting multi-step AI investigations.
● Optimize RAG pipelines and data retrieval quality.
● Ensure AI outputs remain traceable, auditable, and performant.
