Senior .NET engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to develop backend microservices for a cloud-native web platform.

You will work on independently deployable .NET 9+ services using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, running in Docker containers on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

The role involves collaboration with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams, as well as participation in technical design and architecture decisions.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using .NET 9+ / ASP.NET Core
• Design and optimize SQL Server schemas with EF Core
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs (OpenAPI / Swagger)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Participate in technical design, estimation, and implementation
• Work with Terraform infrastructure and Kubernetes deployments
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security

Requirements

Backend

• Strong experience with .NET 9+ / ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Experience with SQL Server 2022+
• Experience designing REST APIs
• Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
• Testing experience with xUnit or similar
• Experience with Docker

Cloud / DevOps

• Experience with Azure (AKS, ACR, Azure SQL, Key Vault)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Service Bus / message queues)
• Strong experience with Git workflows

Architecture

• Experience with microservices architectures
• Understanding of design patterns and clean code principles
• Understanding of integration patterns
• Experience designing scalable and secure systems
