Senior .NET Optimizely Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Optimizely Engineer to design and develop enterprise-level digital platforms using Optimizely Content Cloud and Commerce Cloud.

You will work on modern headless / composable architectures, integrating Optimizely with external systems such as ERP, PIM, and marketing automation platforms.

The role involves close collaboration with frontend engineers, UX/UI designers, DevOps and product teams.
 

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using Optimizely (Episerver) Content & Commerce Cloud
• Build backend services with C# / .NET 6+
• Implement REST / GraphQL integrations
• Work with modern frontend teams (React / Vue / Next.js) to deliver pixel-perfect UX
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Optimize performance and Core Web Vitals
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

Backend

• Strong experience with C# and .NET 6+
• Hands-on experience with Optimizely / Episerver CMS or Commerce
• Experience building REST APIs
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures
   

Frontend (nice to have)

• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript

• React / Vue / Next.js experience is a plus

   

Cloud / DevOps

• Experience with Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)
• Experience with containerization

Integrations

• Experience integrating systems via REST / GraphQL
• Experience working with ERP / PIM / marketing platforms

Nice to have

• Experience with Optimizely Content Graph
• Experience with Optimizely Experimentation
• Experience working in enterprise eCommerce projects
