The Role 

We’re looking for a Marketing & Sales Operations Intern to help keep our marketing and sales systems running smoothly as we grow. You’ll work alongside our marketing consultant and sales team to manage HubSpot (our CRM and marketing platform), support campaigns, and help us make sense of our data. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn how marketing and sales work together at a science-led startup — and you’ll own real deliverables from day one. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Keep our contact and company records in good shape by updating information in HubSpot
  • Help set up and test simple email campaigns and automated messages
  • Make sure forms and lead capture tools are working correctly
  • Assist with cleaning data (fixing duplicates, updating lists, organizing information)
  • Pull basic reports so the team can understand what’s happening in the pipeline
  • Help with event prep: forms, lead capture, checklists
  • Support the team with day‑to‑day tasks as we build our marketing and sales processes

     

What We’re Looking For 

  • You are studying (or have recently finished) Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or something similar
  • You’re organized, detail‑oriented, and like when things are tidy
  • You’re comfortable with spreadsheets and simple formulas
  • You’re curious about marketing tools (we’ll train you on HubSpot)
  • You can write clearly and work independently in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with CRM concepts (contacts, deals, pipelines) or a willingness to learn quickly

     

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM platform 
  • Basic understanding of email marketing or marketing automation concepts 
  • Interest in biotech, beauty, or personal care 
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion, Trello) 

     

What You’ll Learn 

This internship will give you practical, resume-ready experience in marketing operations — one of the fastest-growing areas in marketing. By the end, you’ll be able to: 

  • Navigate and manage HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub at a professional level 
  • Build email workflows, manage lead routing, and segment audiences 
  • Create dashboards and pull reports that inform real business decisions 
  • Understand how startups build their marketing and sales infrastructure from scratch

Details 

This is a remote internship, open to candidates across time zones with a preference for EMEA. We’re flexible on part-time vs. full-time (minimum 20 hours/week). Duration is 3–6 months with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and company needs.
