Middle DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join our infrastructure team and help manage modern containerized environments and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining Kubernetes clusters, managing on-premise virtualization infrastructure, and improving CI/CD and GitOps workflows.

You will work with real production systems across multiple environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and automation across the infrastructure stack. We value engineers who are comfortable troubleshooting complex systems, improving automation processes, and working with modern DevOps tooling.

Expertise Required

2+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role. 
3+ years of experience working with k3s or other lightweight Kubernetes distributions.

Experience deploying and operating Strimzi (Kafka on Kubernetes).

Experience deploying and operating Kafka, Clickhouse and others on Kubernetes).
Basic scripting experience using Bash or Go.

What You Will Do

Manage and maintain multiple Kubernetes clusters, including k3s on bare-metal infrastructure and managed clusters such as DigitalOcean Kubernetes (DOKS).

Deploy, update, and troubleshoot services across production and development environments.

Maintain and optimize Proxmox virtualization infrastructure, including VM lifecycle management, LXC containers, networking, and backup systems.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and self-hosted runners.

Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment workflows using tools such as Flux or ArgoCD.

Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting systems, including Prometheus, Grafana, and related observability tools.

Manage ingress controllers such as Traefik or HAProxy and maintain TLS certificates using cert-manager and Let’s Encrypt.

Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for production systems.

Write and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components and deployment processes.

Will Be a Plus

Experience deploying and operating Strimzi (Kafka on Kubernetes).

Familiarity with Cilium CNI and WireGuard-based networking encryption.

Experience working with HashiCorp Vault and External Secrets Operator.

Knowledge of Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure provisioning.

Experience implementing backup strategies using tools such as Proxmox Backup Server or B2 cloud storage.

Familiarity with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Experience working with DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes (DOKS).

Basic scripting experience using Bash or Go.

Interest in working with AI / LLM infrastructure environments.
