Senior Python Test Automation Engineer (Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw)
Project Description:
The AMD Core Software System Engineering Team seeks a hands on senior engineer to lead graphics driver architecture and modernize test automation using AI/ML to boost productivity, quality, and intelligent test coverage. The role requires deep low level systems expertise, strong automation engineering, and practical experience applying AI/ML to testing, analysis, and developer workflows, plus the ability to drive cross functional projects, mentor engineers, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, AI augmented test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Use ML/AI techniques for test generation, failure triage, root cause analysis, and performance optimization across graphics driver development.
• Own test strategy, evaluate results, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate cross team debugging, close issues, and manage large projects.
• Mentor engineers, promote code quality tools, and run effective meetings.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Proven ability to build and scale test automation frameworks.
• Hands on experience applying AI/ML to engineering workflows (test generation, failure triage, root cause analysis, intelligent test selection, automated analytics, or developer productivity tools).
• Strong programming skills in C++, C, and Python.
• Familiarity in graphics driver architecture and development.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross functional leadership skills.
• Track record delivering large, multi functional product solutions in fast paced, matrixed, multi site environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Experience with graphics/renderer artifacts and common failure modes (aliasing, temporal instability, lighting issues).
• Familiarity with video capture tools and codecs, or with in-engine capture pipelines.
