Senior FullStack (react+node) Developer (Warsaw)

Project Description:

Project for US-based hedge fund. The firm invests in multiple asset classes and strategies, namely long/short equity, systematic, global macro, and venture capital.

The Compliance Technology team develops surveillance, monitoring and reporting tools to ensure that the firm adheres to the highest standards for ethical conduct and professionalism. We develop and maintain a variety of products that interface with many different areas of the business including research, execution and risk.

Responsibilities:

• Server-side software development using NodeJS and C#/ASP.NET
• Front-end software development using ReactJS
• Database programing using SQL
• Working with various streaming, cloud and containerized technologies
• Contributing to discussions and decisions about application architecture
• Liaising with other technology teams within Point72

Mandatory Skills Description:

- Proficiency with React/NodeJS required
- Experience with SQL programming is required
- Proficiency with C#/ASP.NET is required
- Experience building containerized microservices is required
- Experience with any of the following is desirable: Tableau, Entity Framework, LINQ, Java
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality results
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Excellent analytical and design skills are required
- Knowledge of overall finance as it relates to hedge funds is desirable but not mandatory
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards is required
- 7+ years of professional experience in the above-mentioned technologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ is preferred
