Senior Software Engineer in Test (Python, Data Analysis) to $4800

 What you will do

• Participate in QA activities across the full product development lifecycle
• Design test strategies, test cases, and end-to-end scenarios for backend systems and REST APIs
• Execute tests, identify issues, analyze root causes, and verify fixes
• Build and improve automation infrastructure and testing utilities
• Perform API, integration, system, and performance testing
• Monitor quality and performance metrics
• Define and improve QA processes, benchmarks, and quality standards
• Create analytical reports and visualizations to support product validation
• Design KPI-based validation frameworks for optimization performance
• Validate algorithmic outputs using data analysis and quantitative methods

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as SDET or Test Automation Engineer
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with API testing and microservices
• Experience designing and implementing test strategies
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, and performance testing
• Hands-on experience with NumPy and Pandas
• Experience analyzing large datasets and interpreting results
• Ability to validate algorithmic outputs using data-driven approaches
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Pytest
• Experience with matplotlib, plotly, or seaborn
• Experience with Rust or willingness to learn
• Exposure to GIS projects
• Experience with large-scale datasets or big data environments
• Background in statistics, operations research, or applied mathematics
• Mentoring experience
