A Firmware Verification Engineer would be responsible for validating and testing embedded firmware running on semiconductor products and microcontrollers. The role focuses on ensuring that firmware meets functional requirements, quality standards, and system specifications before product release.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing firmware test plans and test cases.
• Performing functional, integration, and regression testing on embedded systems.
• Creating automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency.
• Testing firmware on hardware platforms and evaluation boards.
• Debugging issues and performing root-cause analysis in collaboration with firmware and hardware teams.
• Documenting test results, reporting defects, and supporting continuous improvement of verification processes.

The position requires knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, debugging tools, and programming languages such as C or Python, as well as the ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
