Senior Back-end (Node.js) developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Back-end (Node.js) developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our enterprise-level project for a client from Canada.

This role focuses primarily on back-end architecture and API development using Node.js, while working closely with a front-end React team and other engineers.

Must have

• 5+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack development
• Strong expertise with Node.js
• Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• At least an intermediate strong (B1+) level of English

About Project

Our customer is one of the world’s most successful luxury hotel companies.
The brand operates 118 properties in 47 countries and has been named the Best Luxury Hotel Chain in the world by Business Traveller magazine for two consecutive years.

Stage

The project is an ongoing product ecosystem with continuous scaling and active development.
The system uses a modern technology stack without legacy components.

Project Team

Our technical team will include: Lead Developer, Project Manager, Senior Node.js Developer (this role), Middle React Developer, Junior Node.js Developer, Senior QA Automation Engineer

The team also collaborates with a large Salesforce team on our side (up to 40 engineers).

Work Schedule

Full-time workweek (Monday to Friday), 40 hours. Opportunity to work remotely, from the office (Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro), or in a hybrid format.
