Web Scraping Developer (Strong Junior / Middle)

Experience:
1–3+ years of hands-on experience in web scraping, automation, or data extraction projects.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Web Scraping Developer who can design and maintain reliable data extraction systems across complex websites and social platforms. The role involves building scalable scraping pipelines, handling anti-bot protections, and integrating modern AI-assisted development tools.

This is a part-time, hourly position suited for a strong junior or middle developer who is comfortable working independently and solving real-world scraping challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web scraping and web crawling systems for extracting structured data from websites and online platforms.
• Handle complex scraping scenarios, including dynamically rendered pages, pagination, APIs, and large-scale data collection.
• Work with proxy networks, rotating IPs, and anti-bot protection mechanisms.
• Build scraping logic that can operate reliably across different site structures and layouts.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and debugging.
• Collaborate on improving scraping accuracy, stability, and performance.

Required Skills:

• Practical experience with web scraping and web crawling
• Experience working with dynamic websites (JavaScript-heavy pages)
• Understanding of HTTP requests, cookies, headers, and sessions
• Experience working with proxies and IP rotation
• Ability to analyze website structures and build resilient scrapers
• Comfortable using AI development tools such as:
  • Cursor
  • Claude Code
  • Other AI-assisted coding tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience scraping social media platforms
• Knowledge of anti-bot bypass techniques
• Familiarity with automation frameworks or headless browsers
• Experience building large-scale scraping pipelines
