Шукаємо Senior або Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) в стабільну продуктову компанію, яка створює спеціалізовані e-Commerce платформи, POS, софт для інвентаризації та роздрібного управління роздрібними мережами і он-лайн магазинами.

Шукаємо виключно українських інженерів (в Україні, або Європі).  Команда 50/50 українці+американці. Довготривалий контракт в дуже професійну команду.

Про роль
We are seeking a motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and security of our multi-cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with development teams to ensure our systems meet high standards of availability and performance while supporting thousands of merchants who depend on our platforms every day. As an SRE, you'll split your time between operational excellence (90%) and contributing to strategic initiatives (10%). This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to deepen their expertise in site reliability engineering while working on systems that directly impact small businesses across the country.

Що ви будете робити:

Налаштування інфраструктури (40%)
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, focusing on one primary platform
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools following established patterns
• Monitor system health and respond to alerts, ensuring high availability for critical services
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including patching, updates, and security hardening
• Manage cloud resources efficiently, implementing cost optimization recommendations

Автоматизація (30%)
• Write automation scripts in Python or Bash to reduce manual operational work
• Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Build tools and utilities that improve team productivity and system reliability
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes clusters

Налаштування моніторінгу (15%)
• Create and maintain dashboards in Grafana, Datadog, or similar monitoring platforms
• Implement alerting rules that provide actionable signals without creating noise
• Analyze logs using ELK stack or similar tools to troubleshoot production issues
• Track and report on Service Level Indicators (SLIs) for assigned services
• Instrument applications with metrics to improve visibility into system behavior

Incident Response & Reliability (15%)
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to production incidents
• Follow runbooks and escalate appropriately when needed
• Document incident resolutions and contribute to post-mortem discussions
• Implement remediation items from post-mortems to prevent recurrence
• Create and maintain runbooks for services you support

Дуже бажано мати:
• 3-5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, systems engineering, or related infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience managing production systems in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Demonstrated experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting Technical Skills
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including core services like compute, storage, networking, and databases
• Infrastructure as Code: Working knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to provision and manage cloud resources
• Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Python and/or Bash for automating operational tasks
• CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI for build and deployment automation
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes operations
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack
• Operating Systems: Strong Linux administration skills including shell scripting, package management, and system troubleshooting
• Version Control: Proficient with Git for infrastructure code and collaboration
• Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups) 

Буде дуже круто, якщо ви трохи знайомі з Security:

• Understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security
• Experience implementing security controls and following security standards
• Awareness of compliance requirements and security frameworks

Також плюсом буде:
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Associate Engineer
• Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for automated
configuration
• Windows: Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell
• Multi-cloud: Exposure to more than one cloud platform
• Databases: Experience with RDS, managed databases, or database administration
• Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Retail/E-commerce: Experience in retail, e-commerce, or point-of-sale systems
