What experience is important:
- 3+ years of experience in a CTO / Technical Architect / Head of Engineering role
- Strong technical expertise with a hands-on approach: readiness to personally deep dive into architecture, technical solutions, and, if needed, contribute to the codebase
- Proven experience working with high-load systems and ensuring fault tolerance
- Solid understanding of modern backend and frontend frameworks, architectural patterns, and principles of building complex product platforms
- Experience leading and scaling engineering teams: structuring teams, defining areas of responsibility, strengthening tech leads, and improving overall team manageability
- Experience stabilizing platforms, reducing incidents, and implementing systematic engineering processes
- Strong background in architectural governance, technical reviews, and making key technical decisions
- Ability to build effective communication between engineering, product, and business teams
- Strong people management skills: conducting one-on-ones, developing engineers and tech leads, defining transparent growth paths, and reducing burnout risks
- Experience working with teams undergoing transformation and change
- Experience in gambling / iGaming is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
- Stabilize the platform and significantly improve its reliability
- Reduce the number of incidents and eliminate systemic causes of instability
- Personally participate in architectural design and key technical decision-making
- Build a clear engineering structure with transparent ownership and accountability within the team
- Optimize development processes, cross-team collaboration, and internal engineering governance
- Establish and implement engineering standards for solution quality, technical reviews, and delivery processes
- Develop and mentor tech leads and key team members through regular one-on-ones and structured feedback
- Increase engagement, accountability, and overall team effectiveness
- Ensure strong and efficient communication between business, product, and engineering
- Guarantee stable platform operations for existing brands and create a more predictable and reliable delivery framework
