Automation QA Engineer

We are seeking a Automation Engineer with experience of testing web systems to join a global construction technology platform serving millions of users. This role will be instrumental in designing, executing, and scaling e2e tests across the platform to ensure a reliable and high-performing experience.

You’ll be working with engineering, DevOps, product, and QA stakeholders across multiple regions. The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on with automation frameworks, and experienced in system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests for web applications.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high test coverage and product quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review product requirements and technical designs to create effective test scenarios.
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and report defects clearly.
• Continuously improve test automation practices, frameworks, and tooling.
• Support API testing and integration testing when needed.

Skills Required

• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience testing modern web applications.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, or automated API tests).
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Understanding of test design techniques and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great English speaking skills

Just to highlight, the project is planned for six months with a possible extension.
