Requirements:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
- 3+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing
- Experience in high-throughput or low-latency environments (ideally quantitative systems, HFT, or financial applications)

Core Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, version control, and SDLC best practices
- Strong mathematical background (probability theory, statistics, numerical methods relevant to trading strategy development)
- Experience testing REST APIs and WebSocket-based services
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana)
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and debugging
- Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and Docker
- Confidence working with shell commands, logs, system tools, and process monitoring
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Pandas)
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD workflows

Trading Systems Knowledge:
- Understanding of market microstructure and trading products (spot, futures, swaps)
- Ability to reason through quantitative problems and collaborate with researchers to implement models
- Familiarity with low-latency and high-frequency trading (HFT) systems

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to testing and quality assurance
- Proven ability to independently solve complex technical challenges with real industry impact
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes

As a QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of a high-performance team focused on:
- Low-latency infrastructure
- HFT and quantitative systems
- Real-time risk management tools
- You will work closely with developers, analysts, and system engineers to ensure the profitability, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for trading infrastructure and internal tools, ensuring low latency, high availability, and scalability
- Build and maintain automated test suites for real-time quantitative systems and APIs
- Collaborate closely with developers and analysts to clarify requirements, align on edge cases, and ensure proper test coverage
- Investigate and debug issues in complex distributed systems
- Contribute to performance testing, latency benchmarking, and system monitoring
- Support CI/CD pipelines with automated testing strategies
- Maintain high standards of test coverage and documentation
