Principal DevOps Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform)

Adaptiq is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join the team working on Madlan, one of Israel’s leading real estate analytics and property platforms.

Madlan processes thousands of property listing updates and millions of user interactions every month, so we are looking for someone who enjoys building scalable, reliable and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.

In this role you will own AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Terraform-based infrastructure, helping engineering teams ship faster while maintaining a stable and secure platform.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Operate and optimize production EKS clusters
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Improve monitoring, alerting and observability
• Manage secrets and security using HashiCorp Vault
• Work closely with R&D and AI teams to remove infrastructure bottlenecks
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability and cloud cost efficiency

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with AWS in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes / containerized environments
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience operating PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis or Elasticsearch
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking and distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Nice to have

• Experience with Karpenter or Kubernetes autoscaling tools
• AWS Lambda, CloudFront, Route53
• Experience with multi-account AWS architectures
• Experience with AI infrastructure or integrations
