QA Automation Engineer (Junior)

SoftButler seeks a Junior QA Automation Engineer to ensure top product quality. We're an innovation-driven startup valuing proactivity and growth. Write automated tests, set up CI/CD pipelines, reports and work with UI and API test layers.
 

- Fully remote with optional Kyiv office access. English level — B2+.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests using JavaScript and Playwright
• Build and improve automation frameworks and testing infrastructure
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
• Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex flows
• Contribute to test strategy, coverage improvement, and QA best practices
• Set up reporting in TMS (TestRail, Zephyr)

REQUIREMENTS:

• B2+ English (for communication and technical documentation).
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and strong Playwright experience.
• Experience with UI and API testing tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD; experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git and version control.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
