Middle+ QA Specialist for Social Media Platform

The product is performance-oriented, scalable, and built with clean architecture principles.
 

You’ll join an experienced cross-functional team including a Technical Lead, Backend Developers, Business Analyst, Designer, and Project Manager.

Role Overview
 

We are looking for a Middle+ QA Specialist with hands-on experience testing social media–style web applications, particularly platforms with feeds, messaging, content publishing, and real-time interactions.
 

This role is strongly focused on:

• Requirements-based testing
• Acceptance criteria validation
• Complex user-flow validation
• Ensuring feature completeness before release
   

You will act as a quality gatekeeper — validating that every implemented feature fully matches business logic, technical documentation, and product requirements.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed requirements-based testing and validate features against specifications and acceptance criteria
• Create structured test cases and test scenarios from product documentation
• Execute manual testing across web and mobile web environments
• Test social platform features including:
  • Feed & infinite scroll
  • Profiles
  • Messaging & chat
  • Stories
  • Notifications
  • Live content / real-time updates
  • Content publishing & interactions
  • Gamification features
• Validate UI against Figma designs
• Test API responses and data consistency
• Perform regression testing before releases
• Identify edge cases and negative scenarios
• Provide clear and reproducible bug reports
• Collaborate closely with BA and PM to clarify requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and release validation
   

Required Experience

• 3+ years of commercial QA experience
• Strong experience testing social, content, or community-driven platforms
• Experience working with structured requirements and acceptance criteria
• Ability to independently design test cases from business documentation
• Experience validating full user journeys end-to-end
• Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or similar tools)
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
   

Nice to Have

• Experience testing chat systems, WebSockets, or live updates
• Experience testing adult-oriented platforms (comfortable with sensitive content)
• Experience with feed-based UI systems
• Experience with gamification mechanics
• Experience testing payment flows
• Basic understanding of frontend/backend architecture
