Trainee Test Engineer (IRC288675)

BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
Basic knowledge of Python
Knowledge and understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques
Experience in working with testing documentation
Experience in Linux (or other Unix-based) operating systems
Knowledge/experience in computer networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
At least intermediate spoken and written English

Desired skills:
Experience working with testing/developing embedded systems
Experience in software testing, test automation, administration or another IT-related field

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the definition of the test specifications
Participate in test execution and bug reporting
Participate in the analysis and diagnosis of regular system regression tests
Participate in the analysis and troubleshooting of the complex software/hardware systems
Cooperate with the development and integration team to follow up on bug resolution
Support existing automation tests and develop new ones

Department/Project Description

Our customer is a world-leading provider of 4G/5G chips and modules for the IoT market. Within a Product Validation team, you will contribute to the design and development of system regression tests and testing of the customer's 4G and 5G solutions. The Product Validation team is responsible for defining and establishing the methodology and the environment for efficient system-level testing.
