Senior Shopify Developer

Core Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of professional Shopify development
(Liquid, custom themes, Shopify API, app integrations, metafields, performance optimization).
experience with subscription products (customer uses Recharge)
- Experience with privacy and accessibility requirements (WCAG).
- Direct client communication experience — calls, requirement clarifications, expectation management.
- Proactive approach:
clarifies requirements early, proposes ideas, improvements, etc. Thinks ahead and drives the work, not just executes tasks
- Proven experience working with US-based clients.
- Strong background in ongoing support & maintenance — bug fixes, improvements, feature updates.
- Comfortable with weekly calls, reporting, and simple documentation.
- English level: B2 minimum — confident communication with clients.
 

Process & Work Style
- You will be the only developer on this project — taking full ownership of the technical side.
Independent, reliable, disciplined — no hand-holding.
- High attention to detail — clean structure, pixel-perfect execution.
- Strong estimation skills and consistent delivery.
- Familiar with Agile-style tools (JIRA, Trello, ClickUp, Asana).

Workload & Availability
- Start at 15–20 hours per week.
- Transition to full-time within 1–2 months.
- Flexible schedule, but must be available at least 2 hours in New York (EST) communication windows for coordination.
