Senior macOS Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing cybersecurity product company building an AI-native platform for data loss prevention and insider risk management. The company helps organizations protect sensitive data across SaaS applications, generative AI tools, email, and endpoint devices. Backed by leading global investors and cybersecurity leaders, our client develops mission-critical solutions used by enterprise customers worldwide. 

For our client, we’re looking for a Senior macOS Engineer to join the team responsible for endpoint data exfiltration prevention. This role focuses on designing and developing core components of a mission-critical Data Exfiltration platform, with deep involvement in macOS internals, system extensions, and OS-level integrations. 

Responsibilities 

● Design and develop data exfiltration prevention applications, system extensions, and background services on macOS 

● Build, maintain, and evolve mission-critical endpoint agents 

● Own complex features end-to-end, from architecture and design to delivery and production support 

● Investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues at OS and system levels 

● Conduct OS-level research and deep technical investigations when needed 

Requirements 

● 5+ years of relevant engineering experience 

● Strong expertise in Objective-C or Swift for macOS development

● Hands-on experience building agents on macOS 

● Practical experience with Endpoint Security System Extensions on macOS 

● Good understanding of macOS internals; knowledge of IOKit and macOS VFS model is a strong plus 

● Experience with kernel-level debugging tools and processes 

● Ability to debug complex systems and navigate large codebases with high attention to detail 

● Experience contributing as a key individual contributor or leading significant technical initiatives 

● Strong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability 

● Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, proactive and results-oriented
