Senior Web Engineer (Node.JS/C++) to $8000

Our Customer:

A global technology company developing real-time video augmentation and rendering infrastructure for broadcast and streaming environments.
 

Your tasks:

• Develop and maintain the backend pipeline to monitor, synchronize, and manage data workflows both in the cloud and on on-premises servers.
• Integrate and manage modules written in C++ and Node.js to ensure seamless system performance.
• Implement a robust metadata system on AWS, ensuring secure access to S3 and optimized performance.
• Design and implement scalable backend architecture (Node.js) for efficient data distribution and pipeline control.
• Build and maintain a user-friendly monitoring dashboard to track pipeline status and performance in real-time.
   

Required Experience and Skills:

• Over 8 years of experience in backend development
• Proficient in Node.js and AWS
• Strong expertise in designing large-scale client-server architectures
• Deep understanding of browser internals, including rendering, JavaScript execution, network requests, memory management, and security mechanisms
• English – Upper-Intermediate
   

Would be a plus:

• Experience in database management, especially MySQL
• Experience in real-time C++ programming
• Experience in sports broadcasting and augmented reality (AR) technologies
   

Working conditions

5-day working week, 8-hour working day;
