Senior Java Backend Developer

What We’re Looking For

A Senior Backend Engineer with strong technical skills, ownership mindset, and experience delivering high-quality solutions in financial services.

Must Have

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Java
• Experience with Kafka / streaming technologies
• MongoDB, Elastic/Kibana
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience in cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Background working in Agile/DevOps teams
• Experience mentoring developers & enforcing engineering best practices

Nice to Have

• Investment / wholesale banking experience
• Big data streaming environments
• Experience modernising legacy finance systems
