About the Project

We are building an AI-powered medical product focused on the analysis of angiographic images for stroke cases.
The system detects occlusions, ischemia, ventricles, and other clinical markers, with a roadmap to expand into heart, kidneys, lungs, and other organs, as well as surgical navigation and arterial segmentation.

At the current stage, the team does not yet have an established QA function. We are looking for an experienced QA Consultant / QA Expert who can build the QA process from scratch and set a solid quality foundation for a regulated medical product.

Your Mission

You will act as a QA consultant and process owner, responsible for designing and implementing the full QA framework for the project.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement a QA strategy and QA processes from scratch
• Define QA standards, workflows, and best practices
• Create and maintain QA documentation:
   
  • Test strategy
  • Test plans
  • Test cases
  • Bug reporting standards

  • QA metrics and quality gates

     

  • Build a test matrix (features × platforms × risks)
  • Set up defect tracking and test management (tools, workflows, reporting)
  • Establish release readiness criteria and quality reporting
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and AI teams
  • Advise on manual vs automated testing strategy (automation is optional, not required at this stage)

  • Ensure quality alignment with medical / regulated product expectations
     

    Requirements

  • Strong background as a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead / QA Consultant
  • Proven experience building QA processes from scratch
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA governance
  • Experience with test documentation and QA metrics
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership

  • Clear communication skills and consulting mindset
    
     

    Nice to Have

  • Experience with medical, healthcare, or regulated products
  • Experience testing desktop applications or complex systems
  • Understanding of AI/ML-related testing challenges

  • Experience advising teams during early product stages
     

    Engagement Model

  • Full-time for 2–3 months (process setup phase)
  • Possible continuation as part-time consultant after initial phase
  • Fully remote
