Middle Python Developer (with mentoring experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Python Developer who is ready to take ownership of production support for a B2B e-commerce platform.

The role is focused on ensuring system stability, resolving incidents, and coordinating technical tasks within the team. New feature development is not part of the scope.

We value responsibility, proactivity, and strong communication skills, as the position requires active involvement in discussions and close collaboration with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong Python 3.x knowledge (2 years of experince and more)
• Production experience with Django
• Solid understanding of Django ORM and DRF Strong SQL skills and query optimization
• Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MS SQL Server
• Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
• English level B2+ and higher

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and reliability of the production system
• Investigate and resolve incidents (root cause analysis)
• Review and validate support-related code changes
• Optimize backend performance and database queries
• Coordinate the support team
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding incidents and system status
• Make technical decisions within the existing architecture

Nice to have:

• Celery / Redis Async programming
• Experience with e-commerce or B2B platforms
