Backend (Node.js) Developer

We are a Ukrainian product company developing a growing gaming platform and are looking for a Backend (Node.js) Developer to join our team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js
• Experience working with MySQL
• Hands-on experience with Kafka
• Understanding of building scalable, high-performance backend services
• Experience writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• English level B1 or higher

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, testable, and efficient backend code
• Design and build low-latency, highly available, and high-performance services
• Implement data security and protection mechanisms
• Integrate data storage solutions (databases, key-value storage, etc.)
• Collaborate with DevOps on application deployment across environments
• Improve and unify backend services across the product

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)
• Experience with Fastify
• Experience with Sequelize
