Full Stack Engineer

Our client is a USA-based, innovative software product start-up building a state-of-the-art platform that delivers authoritative bid intelligence to government contracting (GovCon) clients. We are seeking an exceptional Full Stack Engineer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical excellence. This role is perfect for someone who wants to shape the technical direction of a growing platform while remaining deeply involved in writing code. You'll work directly with our team to architect, build, and scale the platform from beta to production. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Drive the technical architecture and development of our platform from beta to production deployment 
• Write high-quality, maintainable code across our full technology stack daily 
• Design and implement a scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services 
• Make strategic technical decisions that balance innovation, scalability, and time-to-market 
• Manage project timelines, set realistic deliverable expectations, and communicate technical challenges proactively 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions 
• Establish development best practices, code standards, and quality assurance processes 
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance platform functionality 

Required Qualifications 

• Strong experience in professional software engineering 
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture 
• Proven track record of taking projects from initial concept through successful production deployment 
• Strong expertise in managing stakeholder expectations and communicating technical trade-offs 
• Demonstrated ability to identify and address technical challenges early, with a track record of speaking up about roadblocks 
• Balance of strategic architectural thinking and passion for hands-on coding 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a small team environment 
• Advanced English
• Ability to work until 1 pm EST time zone (8 pm Kyiv time)
