REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong BigQuery SQL and dimensional data modeling
• Experience building streaming or near-real-time ingestion pipelines on GCP (Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Dataflow)
• Familiarity with Dataform, dbt, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Tableau (data sources, extracts, calculations)
• Comfort with semi-structured/JSON data and schemaless document databases
• English level: B2 or higher
   

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Firestore BigQuery extension or similar CDC patterns
• Data observability tooling
• SCD Type 2 / point-in-time historical modeling
• Terraform or IaC for GCP resources
   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build streaming ingestion from Pub/Sub into BigQuery bronze layer using the Storage Write API
• Design silver-layer entity models: flatten nested Firestore documents into typed, deduplicated tables
• Build gold-layer star schema tables optimized for Tableau
• Develop and schedule incremental transforms (Dataform or dbt)
• Create and maintain Tableau data sources, extracts, and calculated fields
• Monitor pipeline health: ingestion lag, data quality, schema drift
• Document data models for stakeholder self-service
