Backend / Full-Stack Developer (Python, PostgreSQL)

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: Contract with a UAE company

Workload: Full-time (min. 40 hours/week), fast-paced startup environment

Compensation: $20-$25/hour (Strong Middle) up to $30-$35/hour (Senior)

Experience Level: 2-4+ years of backend/full-stack development

• Web platform with a personalized quiz and AI generations
• Mobile app HairHunt (iOS/Android)
• Content blog on WordPress

We're growing fast and looking for a Backend / Full-Stack Developer to help scale the product, automate processes, and integrate AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Backend development & maintenance in Python — APIs, business logic, integrations
• AI generation workflows — pipeline orchestration, image processing optimization
• Integrations — payment systems (Stripe, Paddle), email services, push notifications
• Quiz support — React frontend for the quiz funnel, backend interaction

• DevOps tasks — deployment, monitoring, infrastructure optimization

   

Must-Have

✅ 2+ years of experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

✅ Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)

✅ Basic understanding of React — to support the quiz frontend

✅ Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations

✅ Hands-on approach — ability to figure things out and deliver independently

✅ Interest in AI/ML and automation — willingness to work with LLMs, generations, agents

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/LLM — prompting, RAG, agent orchestration
• Knowledge of WordPress (PHP, hooks, custom integrations)
• Experience with mobile backends — push notifications, deep links
• Understanding of payment systems and webhook integrations

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure
