Senior Python AI Engineer (LLM and APIs)

About the Project

We are building internal AI-powered systems that automate business processes, data analysis, and decision-making.

Our focus is on integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into real production workflows: APIs, automation pipelines, and analytics platforms.

The project involves building scalable AI services, RAG systems, and workflow automation using modern Python stacks.

This is a long-term project with real business impact, stable workload, and strong technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven APIs using FastAPI and Flask
• Design and implement LLM pipelines and agents
• Integrate OpenAI API and optimize usage costs
• Develop RAG systems using vector databases
• Automate workflows with n8n
• Build ETL / data processing pipelines
• Ensure data quality and output reliability
• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Deploy and scale microservices
• Improve system performance and stability

Requirements

• Strong Python backend experience
• Experience building REST APIs (FastAPI / Flask)
• Experience with LLM integration and pipelines
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering
• Experience with OpenAI API / Assistants / Function Calling
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with vector databases (pgvector / embeddings)
• Experience building RAG systems
• Experience with workflow automation (n8n)
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience with ETL / data pipelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker / containerization
• Git / version control proficiency
• Experience with Redis caching
• Basic frontend knowledge (Streamlit / React)
• Experience deploying ML/AI services
• Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Vercel / similar)

Experience Level

• 3+ years in Backend / Data / AI Engineering
• Proven experience with production LLM systems
• GitHub / portfolio with AI projects
• Experience working with scalable systems
