Back-End Developer

At Red Rocket Software, we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Node.js Developer with 3+ years of commercial experience. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable backend systems, taking ownership of technical decisions, and contributing to architecture and product development alongside senior engineers.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Architect and implement robust solutions with NestJS
• Lead backend feature development from technical design to production release
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and reliability
• Integrate third-party services, external APIs, and complex data flows
• Optimize database queries and ensure data consistency (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Ensure backend security best practices and performance optimization
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and production stability

   

What we expect:

• 3+ years of commercial backend development experience with Node.js
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid hands-on experience with NestJS in production environments
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles, Authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC), Database design and query optimization, Backend architecture patterns
• Experience designing scalable systems and handling production workloads
• Confident use of Git and collaborative workflows
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Understanding of Docker and CI/CD processes
• English level B2 or higher
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
• Proactive communication and problem-solving approach
